How it works:
Before meeting the teacher the student watches an episode at the comfort of his/her home. The student will then meet the teacher at a place of their choice (e.g. cafe, park, etc.) and talk about what happened in the episode. The teacher will bring materials such as a copy of the episode script and exercises and examples of the type of language used in the episode. Each class is 45 minutes long, which is the perfect amount of time to discuss the content and answer any questions the student might have.
What shows can I watch?:
A great thing about gaigogakkou is that you can choose any show that you want, the choice is yours! The courses listed above are the most popular, but with the “choose your own” option you can request any show that you like.
